THE WINNERS OF THE 1st CETILAR TROPHY AT THE SIENA CIRCUIT

In the 1st Cetilar Trophy, the winners are Sgheri (KZ4), Ferretti (KZ Under), Biagioli (KZ3 Junior), Tempesti (KZ3 Over), Di Bari (Shifter Rok), Rossi (Mini Rok), Florindo (Senior Rok).

The 1st Cetilar Trophy was held at the Siena Circuit, open to national categories and valid for the seventh round of the Rok Cup Central Area.

In KZ4, Simone Sgheri, on CRG-Iame, dominated from the qualifying sessions and then in the Final, which he won ahead of Federico Martini on Intrepid-Tm and Loris Fontana on Ricciardo-Tm. Claudio Cusumano (CRG-Tm) finished fourth, while Gino Strovegli (CRG-Tm), after finishing second in the Pre-final, was forced to retire in the Final one lap from the end when he was in second position.

In KZ3 Under, the victory went to Fabio Ferretti, on Tony Kart-Dea, who also won the Pre-final and set the best time in practice. Ferretti won the Final ahead of Luigi Di Lorenzo (CRG-Tm) and Emanuele Petreni (Oberon-Tm). Fourth place went to Riccardo Melas (Sodikart-Tm) who finished ahead of Alessandro Grossi (PCR-Tm). Alessio Biagioli (Maranello-Tm) also raced in KZ3 Junior alongside KZ3 Under, finishing sixth overall.

In KZ3 Over, Claudio Tempesti (CRG-Tm) prevailed after setting the best time in practice and coming back from the last position in the Pre-final where he had broken the chain at the start. Paolo Beltramini on Tony Kart-Dea took second place, with Massimiliano Mariotti on Tony Kart-Vortex in third. Stefano Di Bari (Tony Kart-Vortex) raced in the Shifter Rok alongside KZ3 Over, finishing fourth overall.

The Mini Rok was very lively as usual, with 24 drivers. By a thousandth of a second, Federico Rossi on Tony Kart won the Final, in a sprint finish against Ferdinando Taddei on Top Kart, the latter having set pole position in practice. Lamberto Ferrari (Italcorse) finished third in a finishing order that replicated that of the Pre-final. Matteo De Palo on Energy finished fourth ahead of Alessandro Lizio on Parolin. In the Rok Cup standings, Federico Rossi took the lead over Alessandro Lizio. Among the youngest, Lorenzo Maurizi participated in the Entry Level.

In Senior Rok, Riccardo Florindo won ahead of Alessio Bacci, while Riccardo Zuccante finished third after a comeback from sixth position. Mirko Laurito and Alessandro Pandolfi finished in fourth and fifth position, all on Tony Kart. In the standings, Alessio Bacci took the lead.
