Great finale of the 2018 Easykart Trophy: the seventh and final seasonal round featured intense, unpredictable, and spectacular races with titles being decided only in the final laps. The 2018 Easykart Trophy champions are Andrea Pirovano (60 Easy), Alessandro Gnecchi (100 Easy), Francesco Serafini (125 Easy), and Domenico Palumbo (125 Senior).
Pirovano was also the winner of the 60 Easy Final, Mattia Moretti triumphed in the 100 final, Paolo Orsini in the 125, and Rosolino Caralla in 125 Senior.

60 Easy
A very uncertain final, especially in the early race phase with Andrea Pirovano, Andrea Calabrese, and Tommaso Santini competing for victory. Eventually, Pirovano emerged victorious, winning both the race and championship. An emotional Andrea after the race: “It was a beautiful final, especially because in the first laps I fought with Santini and Calabrese, but then I managed to take the lead and pull away.

100 Easy
Thrilling final and championship until the end: at the start, Adam Kowalski maintained the lead, Mattia Moretti then took the lead and crossed the finish line with just over six-tenths advantage over Kowalski and seven over Damiano Puccetti. Alessandro Gnecchi managed to secure fourth place on the very last lap, a position that earned him the final title. Mattia: ” I’m happy to have won again. The start was excellent: in the first laps Adam Kowalski was ahead, but then I caught up with him and gave him a good gap.

125 Easy
A powerful victory for Paolo Orsini: starting from pole position, Orsini maintained first place throughout the race, crossing the
finish line half a second ahead of Daniele Tassone, who finished second after a great recovery from fourth place, with champion Francesco Serafini on the third step of the podium. Paolo: ” It was a great final: I managed to get an excellent start which allowed me to gain that small tenth over Tassone and Serafini, who were excellent opponents today too. It was an endless race, it seemed like it would never end. I managed to build a gap thanks to the battles between the other drivers and in the end, we did it.

125 Senior
Rosolino Caralla is the winner of the final round, finishing an impressive fifth overall. Second in category was Domenico Palumbo – absolute champion, third Roberto Baroni. Rosolino: ” It was a really tough race. I dedicate this victory to my teammate Serafini who won the Italian championship, and congratulations to Domenico Palumbo who is champion of our category.

The final round of the Trophy also featured the baby drivers as undisputed protagonists. Under the guidance of Aci Sport Instructor Sabino de Castro, the future stars of the Easykart paddock engaged in practice sessions, race simulations, and meetings – while also bringing their liveliness to the Circus.

The Easykart Circus will return on October 5-7 with the International Final, again at the Siena Circuit. The Easykart Trophy will return next year with many new features and new categories.
