The forecasted bad weather certainly didn’t help the presence of drivers at the Siena Circuit for the 16th Siena City Trophy, S.T.E. Cup, scheduled for the weekend of November 4 and 5. But in the end, the weather was only inclement on the second day of racing, Sunday, November 5, for the last series of Finals, while on Saturday, good weather prevailed with the track in optimal conditions.
After the four finals held between Saturday and Sunday, Alessio Piccini on Tony Kart-Vortex won the Siena City Trophy in KZ2, winning all four finals, the two on Saturday and the two on Sunday, leaving no chance for his opponents. In KZ2, Jacopo Vanelli (Maranello-Tm) finished second, tied on points with Ludovic Zanchi (Gold-Tm), but with the tiebreaker in favor of Vanelli for having set the best time in practice compared to Zanchi.
In KZ4, racing together with KZ2, the Trophy victory went to Simone Sgheri (CRG-Tm), who won two category victories in two finals and 145 points. Just one point behind was Gino Strovegli (CRG-Tm) with one victory and 144 points, followed by Franco Del Giacco (Croc-Tm) with 135 and Loris Fontana (Ricciardo-Tm) with one victory and 97 points.
In KZ3 Junior, Giacomo Bellandi (Maranello-Tm) came out on top, scoring three victories and one second place, winning the Trophy with 150 points. Matteo Rossi (Birel-Tm) finished second with one victory and 144 points, third was Filippo Viggiani (Formula K-Tm) with 137 points.
In KZ3 Over, the tiebreaker rule ensured Simone Torsellini (Zanardi-Iame) the Trophy of the category over Massimiliano Mariotti (Tony Kart-Vortex), both finishing with 147 points, two victories and two second places each. Claudio Ambrogi (Maranello-Tm) finished third with 135 points.
In KZ3 Under, the Trophy went to Fabio Ferretti (Tony Kart-Dea), winner of three finals, after a great duel with Luigi Di Lorenzo (CRG-Tm) who won one final. Ferretti finished with 150 points, Di Lorenzo with 144. Marco Ramacciotti (Croc-Tm) finished third ahead of Andrea Telleschi (Croc-Tm), both with 133 points, fifth was Fabrizio Monti (Tony Kart-Vortex) with 123, sixth Alessandro Grossi (PCR-Tm) with 121.
In the Rok Cup, racing for the fourth and final round of the Rok Cup Challenge, in Mini Rok, Luca Scagnetti (Intrepid) dominated both in the Pre-final and Final ahead of Davide Pierozzi (Tony Kart) and Nicola Lacorte (Tony Kart).
The Rok Senior raced together with the Junior. In the Senior, Luigi Beneventi (Tony Kart) had no difficulty in winning, while in the Junior, Jacopo Fossati (Birel) won both the Pre-final and Final. In the Final, behind Fossati were Lorenzo Chiozzone and Nicole Ameglio, both on Tony Kart.

THE WINNERS OF THE 16th SIENA CITY TROPHY
The 16th Siena City Trophy S.T.E. Cup was won by Piccini (KZ2), Sgheri (KZ4), Bellandi (KZ3 Junior), Simone Torsellini (KZ3 Over), Ferretti (KZ3 Under), in Rok Mini Scagnetti, in Senior Beneventi, in Junior Fossati.
