In KZ4<\/strong>, the victory was never in question, with Siena’s Simone Sgheri (Crg-Tm) setting an unmatched pace for anyone and winning all four races. The KZ3 Over<\/strong> was the most numerous category and saw the clear dominance of Fabrizio Monti (Tony Kart-Vortex) who finished with a perfect score, thanks to four victories. So on the podium, behind Monti, Pellegrini and Vanelli finished with equal points, but Pellegrini reached the score before his direct rival and, therefore, placed second in the Trophy.<\/p>\n\n The competition in KZ3 Under<\/strong> was resolved down to the wire between Fabio Ferretti (Tony Kart-Dea), Tiziano Micheli (Energy-Tm), and Kevin Ceccarelli (Maranello-Tm).<\/p>\n\n The three arrived at the fourth and final race practically tied on points, with one victory each. So race-4 was a true challenge of truth, run in the rain, with all the uncertainties that wet asphalt brings. <\/p>\n\n Under the checkered flag, Ferretti came out on top, ahead of his direct rivals in the Trophy, Micheli and Ceccarelli. Thus, the finishing order of race-4 was a carbon copy of the top three positions in the final Trophy standings. <\/p>\n\n In the KZ3 Junior<\/strong>, Alessio Mordini (Energy-Tm), Simone Lepri (Energy-Tm), and Lorenzo Mariani (Crg-Tm) competed for success. These three drivers shared the victories, with only Mordini being able to win two races. <\/p>\n\n In fact, Mordini also won race-3, in the rain, but was penalized with 10″ and thus handed the victory to Lepri.<\/p>\n\n The clear victory in race-4 brought the Trophy into Mordini’s hands, relegating Lepri and Mariani to second and third place respectively (although tied on points). Not far from the leaders was Samuele Marchetti (Oreron-Tm), who finished fourth, just one point behind the two ahead of him. The Rok Final Cup<\/strong> featured three categories of the Vortex one-make series: Mini Rok, Junior, and Senior Rok. In the Senior Rok<\/strong>, the challenge was all about the confrontation between two young Tuscans, Federico Biagioli (Tony Kart-Rok GP) and Filippo Croccolino (Intrepid-Rok GP). Biagioli imposed himself excellently, resisting Croccolino’s final comeback. Luca Leonardi (Tony Kart-Rok GP) finished third. The 17th edition of the Siena Trophy concludes after a weekend featuring four races.
